Your Opportunity

As a Resident Services Officer - Seniors Communities, you will play a vital front-line role in creating a welcoming, responsive and supportive environment for residents and their families. 

You will be delivering administrative support on day-to-day basis and may be required to provide occasional support on weekend and evening hours for scheduled residents activities and events whilst delivering high standard of customer service.  

This role supports the day-to-day life and wellbeing of residents, ensuring an excellent experience that reflects Anglicare’s mission and values. We are seeking someone who can work 2 days a week (15.2 hrs) with requirement to work from 8am start on Wednesdays and (Tuesdays or Thursdays). 

With integrity and resilience, you will: 

Lifestyle & Event Support 

  • Support delivery of the lifestyle and activity calendar under the guidance of the Events Manager and in collaboration with the Events and Hospitality teams. 
  • Provide hands-on help during resident events and functions, including room setup, sign-in, coordination, and feedback collection. 
  • Assist with transport, guidance, and attendance support for residents attending events within the village as well as accompanying residents to events external to the village. 

Customer Service & Front-of-House 

  • Respond promptly and courteously to all resident enquiries and concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up or referral to other staff or services. 

Administration & Communication

  • Provide administrative support to the team  
  • Keep resident information systems (e.g. Epicor) accurate and up to date. 

Resident Support

  • Work alongside the Bus Drivers to provide safe and courteous transport for residents and guests around the village, including during events or in response to resident needs. 
  • Assist residents with practical day-to-day support (e.g. deliveries, accessing amenities), referring to the appropriate team when necessary. 

Problem Solving & Team Collaboration 

  • Assist in identifying and resolving low-complexity operational issues raised by residents. 
  • Escalate more complex matters to the Resident Services Coordinator or appropriate department. 

What You’Ll Bring

You are a highly motivated Customer Service focussed professional with a passion for people. Your ability to engage, communicate, and drive results will be key to success in this role. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional manner 
  • Basic experience in event or activity support preferred 
  • Customer-focused mindset with a desire to support older people with dignity and respect 
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail 
  • Confidence using technology including Microsoft Office, phone apps, digital displays, and resident management systems 
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative in daily operations 
  • Warm, adaptable, and team-oriented approach 
  • Experience in customer service, reception, or administrative roles (aged care or hospitality sector desirable) 

Ideally, you’ll bring your exceptional customer service skills with a desire to support older people with dignity and respect along with your ability to multitask with keen attention to detail.
