Pharmacovigilance Safety Officer (QPPV)

The Pharmacovigilance Safety Officer will act as the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) in the European Union (EU) and will be responsible for drug safety and regulatory compliance. The role will oversee the pharmacovigilance system, monitor drug safety, and ensure that the company complies with safety regulations. In compliance with European Union legislation (Directive 2001/83/EC, as amended, Article 1043(a), and the Guideline on Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, GVP Module I, Section I.C.1.1), the Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) is mandated to appoint a permanently available, suitably qualified individual to fulfill this position. Must reside in the EU. The position will also provide oversight of the PV system governing all other global markets to ensure and maintain consistency with regulatory requirements and best practices. Management of the local Qualified Person network per individual country requirements ensuring individual country regulations are met.
