The Team
The EMEA Creative department is a creative hub within the direct-to-consumer (DTC) organization, responsible for providing consumers the most compelling store and showroom experience in the region based on the global direction delivered by the CK Global department based in the New York global Calvin Klein headquarters. Overseeing the creation of Visual Merchandising (VM) & Windows guidelines, sampling and production of window concepts, showroom operations, and regional product presentation training, this EMEA department ensures regional DTC success in close collaboration with the market hubs.
The CK Creative Concepts team produces and deliver guidelines and tools to the EMEA market, ensuring brand consistency and commerciality across retail and wholesale. Production and implementation of global creative concepts and campaigns are managed alongside the design of regional showrooms.
The Position
The Senior Specialist Campaigns & Seasonal Consumer Messaging, part of the CK EMEA Creative Concepts team reporting to the Senior Manager Creative Concepts, drives the management of global seasonal and project specific, brand and product campaigns, together with seasonal consumer messaging assets for the EMEA market and countries through close partnership with global brand environments, global and EMEA marketing, visual & retail product merchandising and key external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage global seasonal & project specific, brand and product campaigns, together with seasonal consumer messaging assets for windows and in-store environments, across all divisions and channels.
- Drive new and improve existing processes through an effective collaboration with the multiple suppliers, contractors, and agencies.
- Develop seasonal, channel specific roll-out strategies and calendars in alignment with available budget and global launch dates.
- Define retail campaign priorities based on the available assets for the EMEA market in communication with other business stakeholders, such as central marketing, retail & visual merchandising, local buying teams, store design and development.
- Approve campaign artworks prior to production across all channels and divisions.
- Create and communicate seasonal rollout plan in collaboration with the suppliers including all relevant information to ensure that timelines and launch dates are met.
- Create and approve all project documents according to brand guidelines.
- Communicate and define accurate and market specific rules and exceptions with supplier, according to global guidelines.
- Collaborate with all direct team members and markets on scheduling installations.
- Create purchase orders, monitor budget tracker and oversee the recharge process for local markets/franchisees.
- Ensure that all relevant campaign and consumer messaging assets are available on the digital database on time and accurately plan data clean-up and order phases with the supplier and markets.
- Oversee digital video assets implementation on selected locations in collaboration with marketing team and supplier.
- Provide clear information and content for the creation of accurate monthly newsletters and communication updates, in close collaboration with the team.
- Monitor and guide the local production process between local markets (where applicable).
The Ideal Candidate:
- University degree in Marketing or fashion business, multiple years’ work experience in the field of 2D assets (campaign imagery and/or consumer messaging) production within fashion or related industries.
- Experience in supplier communication and clear briefing and in visual communication and creation of appealing documents.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS office. (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Awareness of project management tools. (Asana, Wrike)
- Excellent attention to details and project management skills.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to realization.
- Self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making.
- Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic execution.
- Creative flair and a strong visual sense, awareness of current trends, youth culture and fashion landscape.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Other European languages are an advantage.
