Analog Devices is seeking System on Chip (SOC) Digital Design Senior Principal Engineer, who will be responsible for end to end SOC design development of highly integrated solutions and products in a multifunctional team. You will be working on driving real revenue growth on the next generation of Intelligence at the Edge products across multiple products and business units.

About The Role
As SOC Design Lead one will be responsible for driving complex SOC project from architecture to Silicon. Will be working with product development team in defining the product concept, work with Architecture team to define hardware architecture, work with verification team for pre silicon verification, DFT and Physical design team for SOC development. Will also be responsible for enablement of all SOC development functions with Post Silicon, manufacturing, FPGA, Emulation and Software.
Key Responsibilities
SOC Design and Development
Lead End to End design for complex SOCs in IOT, Consumer, automotive, energy or ASIC markets.
- Key contributor to architecture definition and system use scenarios definition
- Define micro architecture, prepare and publish documents (spec, user guide, micro arch)
- Drive PPA (Power, Performance & Area) for the project
- Design, analyze, develop, and evaluate VLSI components
- Drive Design process - RTL coding, code review, CDC, LINT, LEC, CLP, Synthesis etc.
- Customer Support & Governance
- Analyze and Recommend improvements for performance, Area optimization and Power optimization
- Ensure compliance with design process and flow
Identify areas of improvements in design process and drive enhancements
Interactions with customers, understanding customer requirements and technical support
Enable DV, DFT, PD, FPGA and emulation teams for SOC development
Support to Software teams for early software enablement
Post Silicon bring up, Silicon debug support
Team Management
Manage a small design team for project execution and technical guidance to project team
Provide technical support and debug complex engineering issues
Talent Management - support organization needs in building high performing teams, set goals, conduct reviews, performance management, guidance and mentorship
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech with 12+ years of industry experience in SOC or IP Design
- Experience in leading end to end SOC design
- Good understanding of SOC/Subsystem design concepts and design architectures.
- Knowledge of DV, DFT, PD and SW process is an added advantage
- Experience in defining design requirement and developing micro architecture
- Power aware design with UPF, Power analysis and Power optimization experience
- Performance analysis, Performance enhancement experience
- Familiar with design process – RTL coding, LINT, CDC, RDC, Synthesis, etc.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influence innovative design development/verification methodologies to wider team spread across the globe.
- Quick to adopt new technologies with good problem-solving skills.
