Manager, Market Access - 12 month FTC (maternity cover)

Job Description

General Summary:

The Pricing & Market Access Senior Manager (12-month FTC) supports the brand cross-functional teams and countries with pricing and access analysis, as well as product-specific access support.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

• Executes on key pricing and market access deliverables to support specific brands, including but not limited to activities to collect payor insights and activities to support countries with their market access efforts. At the above-country level, these may include payor research, payor advisory boards and value messages; at the country level, these may include secondary research and analysis and reimbursement dossier preparation, including cost-effectiveness model adaptations where needed.
• Applies strong analytical skills to pricing and market access, e.g., through the modelling of the quantitative impact of local payor strategy execution (e.g., managed entry agreements modelling).
• At the international level, it validates the International Price Referencing analysis conducted by Pricing Analytics, outlining different scenarios and mitigation options.
• As a member of the cross-functional brand team, ensures that the pricing and market access perspective is adequately represented in all discussions.
• Provides pricing and market access input into long-range plans, brand plans, scenario analysis to address specific brand strategy questions and other brand planning exercises that require an expert functional perspective.
• Ensures that learnings and best practices for the assigned brand(s) are shared across the market access community (assigned regions, countries, staff).
• Project manages the end-to-end rollout of priority market access capabilities (i.e., identification of capability gaps, prioritisation, content development with or without consultant support, socialisation with relevant colleagues, and roll-out to countries).
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Knowledge And Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills demonstrated by deliverables in recent position.
• Ability to think through different scenarios, analyse each one and make specific recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, strong oral/written presentation skills to explain difficult information and build consensus
• Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced environment.

Education And Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific or business field
• Typically requires 6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Flex Eligibility Status:

• In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as: 
• 1.    Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
• 2.    On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
