Maintenance - Student Worker

Role Responsibilities:

• Train under and works with experienced maintenance team
• Performs daily and weekly machine PMs as assigned
•  Maintains cleanliness and safety in the work area
• Performs required safety processes before working on machinery
• Uses computer for process related functions
• Complies with OSHA, HAZ/Waste regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a two-year degree in Instrumentation Technology, Electromechanical Technology or related field is required.  
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
• Work in environment involving work near heat, noise, dust, and dirt with the physical requirements of standing, walking, heavy lifting, climbing, crawling, crouching, bending, squatting and kneeling as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiar with tools, equipment, or maintenance software is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in maintenance
