About The Role
We have a 9-month Fixed-Term opportunity available for a Provider Communications Manager to join our Retention & Engagement team.
This role would suit an experienced communications professional who will design and deliver provider engagement programmes with a strong focus on storytelling and measurable impact.
In this role, you will champion data-driven strategies to enhance communications, strengthen provider relationships, and build long-term brand affinity – reinforcing our health and wellness promise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans that drive provider engagement and retention.
- Partner with provider-facing teams (partnerships, advocacy, integrity, clinical) to foster positive relationships and improve experience.
- Ensure clear, consistent messaging across all provider touchpoints.
- Lead content creation for provider channels – newsletters, websites, events, and education materials.
- Oversee provider complaints and feedback processes, supporting continuous improvement.
- Increase internal visibility of provider strategy through targeted communications.
- Monitor and guide appropriate provider use of Southern Cross branding.
- Coach teams on effective and consistent communication practices.
About You
- Proven experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Skilled in developing and executing B2B communication strategies.
- Strong copywriting and content creation expertise.
- Confident using data and insights to inform strategies.
- Familiarity with healthcare or medical terminology (advantageous).
- Proficient in modern communication tools and techniques.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and brand-consistent.
- Understanding of customer loyalty and affinity-building drivers.
- Comfortable working in Agile and adaptive environments.
