Job Description

  1. Area of function involves managing, lead and train quality people from all responsible areas to ensure required quality of products and processes in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards and LEGO standards.
  2. Implement IMS (Integrated Management System) standards and ensure people to follow all requirements and rules from Quality/EHS/FSC.
  3. Maintain skilled team in all responsible areas, responsible for their development and career planning.
  4. Organize and lead the development of the department's tactical implementation plan (TIP) in accordance with the group's strategic deployment (SD).
  5. Ensure timely analysis and correction of consumer complaints, analyze Call Rate Report, and take corresponding actions to reduce consumer complaints.
  6. Maintain and continuously improve the quality control capabilities of the Packing Area, and proactively identify and correct quality issues.
  7. Monitor Packing quality performance and trends including Novelty or new platform introduction, identify potential risks and systematic issues, collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements, and continuously enhance Packing quality performance.
  8. Support Big/ Critical Incidents handling, including triggering of Stop action in Distribution

Centers(DCs) and follow-up on defined corrective actions.

  1. Collaborate with all sites via the quality manager platform on global standardization, alignment of business rules, quality performance monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and implementation of A&D (automation and digitalization) projects in Packing Quality Area, etc.
  2. Coordinate resources from the JIA site to support the rework requirements of the DCs.
  3. Support local SQM and Shenzhen QiEP(Quality in External Parts) teams in handling
  4. Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
  5. Bring in LCI mindset and proactively focus on continuous improvement of quality. Project leader in CI activities.
  6. Bring the Product safety mindset and knowledge into team as PS ambassador. Make sure product quality safety issue handled in the correct way.
  7. Support compliance team on regulatory certification and compliance case handling.
  8. Collaborate with EHS team on daily job in packing area to ensure compliance with safety regulations, identify potential risks and continuously improve the EHS performance.
  9. Support QEHS head on functional business and organization development.

Do you have what it takes?

  • At least 15 years in Quality management and 10 years managerial experience from MNC manufacturing industrial.
  • Advanced leadership abilities, well developed team working skills
  • High communication skills with local and global stakeholders, fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Process management, quality management or equivalent education background
  • Good level in Microsoft office
  • Good knowledge on ISO 9001/14001/45001
