What’S On Offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced and energetic Commissioning Lead to oversee the commissioning and start up of critical water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects. This is a key role in ensuring assets are brought online safely, efficiently and to specification, delivering long-term value to our clients and communities. You will be joining an experienced and focused delivery team on a diverse range of multidisciplined projects within the Gold Coast region.  

In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Lead and coordinate commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and associated infrastructure
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, methodologies and testing procedures aligned with industry and project standards
• Oversee systems testing, process optimisation, performance verification and troubleshooting
• Manage commissioning schedule, budget and reporting to ensure project milestones and compliance obligations are achieved
• Work closely with delivery teams and design to ensure a smooth transition to operations and client handover
• Deliver high-quality documentation, reports and handover packages
• Ensuring work is carried out safely, in compliance with safety standards and relevant legislation.

How you'll connect to the role:

• 7+ years in commissioning role within the Utilities industry
• Degree in Engineering or relevant industry experience
• Proven experience leading commissioning on large scale water and wastewater treatment projects
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes, mechanical/electrical systems, SCADA/Controls, and instrumentation in wastewater environments
• Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
