Job Description Summary

This INDEX Avant-Garde project will be conducted as a weekend immersive where a group of students, led by Entertainment Design faculty, will conceptualize the theme throughout the designated event spaces and develop a delightful guest experience.

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the job:

Duties And Responsibilities May Include:

• Graphic Design

• Videography

• Illustration

• Motion Design

• Photography

• Virtual Reality Development

• May work independently with external clients

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Software Proficiency

• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Ability to collaborate with clients/team members to understand project requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students and external clients

This will be a highly collaborative process with all students being able to participate with the following preferred skills:

• Hand Sketching during the immersive for communication and artwork deliverables within the two day period.
• Brainstorming with the group (we need vocal students who are not intimidated to share their thoughts and ideas).
• All students will be required to pitch ideas to the group and possibly to a larger team in the future.

Participation from all majors is encouraged. We will be looking for environmental design, illustration & drawing skills, production/theater design experience, costuming, quick animatic animation, graphic design and project management. We want all your talents!!

• Must be enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design
