Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Metadata Developer to join our Data Engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining metadata solutions using Informatica tools, ensuring robust metadata capture, governance, and data lineage. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in metadata-driven development, Informatica platforms, and data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain metadata solutions using Informatica Metadata Manager, Informatica EDC, and related tools.
• Implement metadata ingestion, parsing, and integration workflows across multiple platforms.
• Enable and maintain data lineage, impact analysis, and metadata cataloging capabilities.
• Partner with data stewards, architects, and governance teams to ensure metadata accuracy and completeness.
• Support data quality initiatives by ensuring metadata consistency across pipelines and repositories.
• Participate in business glossary management, metadata discovery, and search enablement for business users.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues related to metadata ingestion, synchronization, and visualization.
• Align metadata solutions with organizational data governance policies and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).

Experience:

• 8+ years of professional experience as an Informatica Metadata Developer or in a data management role.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica EDC, Axon, and Metadata Manager.
• (Preferred) 3+ years in data/business analysis, ideally in regulated or data-intensive industries.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Informatica EDC & Metadata Manager.
• Solid understanding of data lineage, metadata standards, and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with business glossary tools and data quality solutions.
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple platforms.
