Role Purpose
To lead and deploy the processes in the respective fields. To ensure on time delivery and effective resolution of project related incidents there by ensuring business continuity for value addition to stakeholders.
Reporting To

Responsibilities/ Task
Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority
Generic Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality of deliverables of the project
- Front end the customer on behalf of the team as required
- Largely work as an individual contributor. However, may be required to handle some junior team members in the project structure.
Process Management:
- Understands the technical requirement of customer and project
- Establish the plan and monitors its progress
- Ensure process compliance in association with the Tech Lead.
- Prepare/verify documentation of important processes/ activities
- Identify best practices
Delivery Support:
- Leads the technical implementation and functions as a point of escalation for resolution of technical matters.
- Ensures on time resolution of service/ service request from customer.
- Provides technical help to team members
- Assists delivery teams in technical analysis and understanding.
- Support in defining, following and ensuring, administratively where required, participation in technical interviews, departmental procedures, etc.
- Supporting technical trainings / Knowledge Sharing for delivery teams.
Capability Building And Mentoring:
- Capture and store reusable information and update database (Knowledge Management, Lessons Learnt).
- Technical mentoring of the juniors in the team.
- Contribute to teams' technical growth by engaging in technical discussions and mentoring
- Conduct Technical interviews at Engineer Level
Personal Development:
- Monitor the gaps for self and create a personal development plan in discussion with supervisor for plan on closure of gaps or building new skill.
Key Performance Indicators
- No. of milestones/ tasks delivered as per plan
- First time technical correct

Role Requirement (Expectations)
Educational Qualification
- BE / DME in Mechanical/production/automobile stream
- No. of years of work experience (relevant)
- * To be used at the time of job posting only
- If BE: 12+ years
- If DME or equivalent: 14+ years
Critical Skill Sets (Technical)
- Expert in DVA (Core product knowledge) as;
- Coordination of requirements and feasibility with customers, program, project, and suppliers
- Optimization strategy to enable target achievement.
- Definition of agreed tolerance and functional dimension concepts
- Support the creation and analysis of alignment, clamping and assembly concept and sequence.
- Preparation of reference point system, gap plans, tolerance data sheets, functional dimension drawings, ...
- GD&T consideration as per ASME & ISO standards for various materials used in automotive.
- Tolerance simulations in 3DCS / Vis VSA and 1D/2D calculations for potential deviations for preventative quality management, (rework minimisation...)
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and measurement equipment, vehicle manufacturing and root cause activity experience
