Financial Manager

The Opportunity:

The Finance Manager role will manage and enhance financial operations through accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient treasury management, ensuring compliance and supporting business performance across all functions. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a collaborative environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.

What You’Ll Do:

• Own month-end and statutory reporting; ensure AASB compliance and audit readiness
• Maintain a robust control environment; drive process automation and standardisation
• Lead budgeting/forecasting across corporate cost centres; provide clear variance narratives
• Manage treasury: cash flow planning, liquidity and banking relationships
• Oversee tax and regulatory obligations (GST, FBT, income tax; support ASX-style reporting)
• Coach, develop and set standards for the Assistant Accountant and Finance Officer
• Partner with business owners to turn data into decisions; identify cost and margin opportunities

About You:

• CPA or CA, with 5+ years in a Finance Manager role (or similar)
• Strong financial reporting expertise; deep understanding of AASB and listed-company expectations (ASX exposure ideal)
• Proven internal controls and risk management capability; audit-ready mindset
• Solid knowledge of taxation and treasury (cash flow, liquidity, banking)
• Systems savvy: ERP experience (Business Central highly regarded) and advanced Excel
• Influential communicator who builds trust, makes balanced decisions and delivers continuous improvement
• Full Australian work rights
