About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, L’Occitane is on the lookout for a full-time Demand & Supply Planner. The role will be based in our North Sydney Office.
The main responsibilities of this role are to accurately forecast the SKU level sales. This is pivotal to ensure we purchase the right level of stock providing high stock availability for our retail network as well as our wholesale partners and making sure our stock holding is as lean as possible.
Major Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing team to develop and maintain SKU level for L’Occitane ANZ affiliate.
- Ensure product life cycles are correctly maintained so that new products are launched in a timely manner, that end-of-life products are phased out in accordance with company plans and inventory targets, and that product substitutions are managed effectively.
- Use of MRP analysis and FuturMaster Forecasting Tool to build an 18-month forecast plan.
- Measure and analyze sales forecast accuracy with MAPE & BIAS
- Collaboration with Marketing and Sales to ensure clear and timely communication of relevant information across business (Weekly Retail Meetings + CIP meetings).
- Coordinate and follow up on sea and air shipment with freight forwarder and central logistic team.
Skills & Competencies
- Prior FMCG / Retail Supply Chain experience (demand, supply or replenishment planning) preferred.
- Experience dealing with perishable items preferred.
- Strong work ethic and focused on achieving results.
- Strong relationship building skills along with the ability to confidently and articulately communicate at all levels of the business
- Experience with Futurmaster is desirable. Navision or SAP are also a plus.
