The PMO Manager leads the development and implementation of the organization’s project management practices and standards, ensuring their effectiveness and continuous improvement. This role is accountable for the successful delivery of projects—on time, within scope, and within budget—while aligning with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning And Execution:

Develop and implement standardized project management processes and methodologies.

Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to project managers and team members.

Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align projects with organizational goals.

Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and financial tracking for projects.

Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and external stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.

Facilitate effective communication and maintain alignment with project goals.

Budget And Resource Management:

Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project performance.

Monitor and manage project budgets to meet financial goals.

Coordinate with department heads to identify and secure required resources.

Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor and control changes in project scope,schedule, and costs.

Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.

Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project professionals.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.

Participate in project tenders by providing necessary documentation and engineering input.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, schedules, and status reports.

Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.

We Are Looking For:

  • Solid experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Professional certification in project management (PMP, PMI, Prince2, APMPMQ or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects across multiple departments.
  • Experience developing and working with project standards and delivering project assurance.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Project Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proactive service-based attitude
  • Strong ability to work in a multicultural environment.
