We are seeking an experienced Web & SEO Implementation Manager to lead our team of SEO web developers. This role ensures that our clients' SEO strategies are successfully brought to life on their websites. The ideal candidate will have a background in web development, technical SEO, and team leadership, along with a strong eye for detail and quality control.

As a Web & SEO Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage a team of web developers implementing SEO recommendations across client websites. Define and track KPIs to monitor team performance and delivery.
• Oversee tasks such as content uploads, metadata implementation, technical SEO fixes, URL redirects, and navigation updates.
• Ensure accuracy and technical integrity of all SEO implementations, maintaining consistency with platform-specific requirements (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
• Troubleshoot and resolve code-related issues (PHP, JavaScript, HTML) and address web-related bugs across a range of client sites.
• Coach your team to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to transform business requirements into functional, user-friendly web interfaces.
• Manage client communication and escalations related to web implementation work to ensure alignment with goals and timelines.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, particularly SEO strategists, to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
• Continuously improve internal workflows, documentation, and QA processes to increase development speed and reduce errors.
• Ensure all implementations follow SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and modern development guidelines.
• Analyse implementation outcomes and identify opportunities to improve site performance and user experience.
• Provide mentoring and training to team members on tools, processes, and emerging best practices in web development and technical SEO.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to support technical tracking, testing, and data validation across implementations.

• Volume, quality and timeliness of team’s tasks
• Tracking of team meetings, 1:1s, and individual KPIs
• Escalation resolution
• Internal and external costs
• Secondary: communication, attendance and training

Requirements:

• A degree in web development, computer science, digital marketing or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role managing technical or web development teams
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms, and SEO implementation practices
• Experience working in a high-volume production environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience using SEO and technical tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz and others
