About The Team/Project

Join the team behind the Schibsted Account, a core identity platform that enables seamless single sign-on (SSO), intuitive login, and centralized privacy management for millions of users across Schibsted’s ecosystem.

We’re a cross-functional, international team with:

• 2 Product Managers
• 1 UX Designer
• 1 Data Analyst
• 9 Engineers (Poland & Sweden)

• Monitoring & Ops: Grafana, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty

About The Role

About You

What We’Re Looking For:

• Proficiency in JVM languages (Kotlin or Java)
• Experience designing and building services in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice To Have:

• Experience with distributed systems
• Familiarity with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, authentication standards (OAuth/OpenID)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous queues (SNS, SQS, Kafka)
