We are seeking an International Tax Manager to join our Tax team. This role will focus 50% on US international tax matters (FDII, GILTI, FTC, etc.) and 50% on European tax compliance, reporting, and planning mainly within Germany.  This is a highly visible role that combines tax compliance, advisory, and reporting responsibilities.  This position will report to the Senior Director of International Tax in the US, and includes future development opportunity for expanded role covering other countries and/or topics globally as part of a multinational tax team.

About The Job:

US International Tax Compliance, Reporting, and Planning (50%)

  • Prepare quarterly provision calculations for GILTI, FDII, Subpart F and foreign tax credits
  • Coordinate with 3rd party return preparer for data gathering and reviewing international aspect of the US return including Form 5471/8858/1118/8992/8993, etc.
  • Monitor changes in US international tax law developments and evaluate their impact on the company
  • Assist with internal restructuring, M&A, cash repatriation, etc.

European Tax Compliance, Reporting, and Planning (50%)

  • Prepare quarterly tax reporting packages for the German group
  • Coordinate and review German income tax returns and related reporting prepared by local advisors (corporate income tax, local filings, etc.)
  • Assist in tax audits and respond to information requests from tax authorities
  • Coordinate with local advisors to analyze and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance and explore opportunities  
  • Get familiar with ERP systems within Germany and identify tax related process improvements

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or related field; MST or equivalent preferred
  • 5–10 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in an multinational company or a Big 4 advisory firm
  • Strong knowledge of US International tax law and US tax compliance and reporting
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • CPA or similar qualification preferred
  • Fluent in English.  German language is a plus.

Salary Range:

$117,600 - $182,220

The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
