Hr Business Partner
Purpose: The HR Business Partner acts as both a strategic advisor and operational executor aligning HR practices with business objectives. The HR Business Partner provides comprehensive HR support in areas such as workforce planning, employee relations, talent management and organizational effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with local and HiSERV group policies, industry-specific regulations and local labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- HR Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs and align HR strategies and processes accordingly.
- Local Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment efforts for local positions, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates through sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company’s culture and operations.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations. Provide salary framework to support local management in hiring & retaining employees.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, personal details (GDPR), and payroll data.
- Compliance & Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing employee queries and concerns whilst ensuring HR practices comply with local employment laws, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Negotiate & Administer employee benefits, including healthcare, retirement, and other company perks.
- Performance & Development: Facilitate performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure relevant policies and subsequent training and awareness programs are implemented, monitor compliance with local health, safety & environmental regulations (including accident investigation) and participate in risk assessment. Including working together with all management to safeguard a safe working environment.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment, payroll, and HR metrics to management.
- Change Management: Support organizational change together with management, evaluate and suggest improvements to HR processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Role Requirements, Necessary certificates & skills:
- Min. Bachelor´s degree in HR or related field.
- Several years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations.
- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization (locally & centrally).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Previous experience in aviation, GSE rental, or related industries is an advantage.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch, proficiency in French.
