Our manufacturing site in Hillerød brings together a complete range of expertise, capabilities, and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics. Our large-scale drug substance manufacturing facility has a capacity of 12 x 20,000 liters bioreactors to manufacture biopharmaceuticals for late phase and commercial use. Our ongoing expansions in Hillerød will bring us to a total of 20 x 20,000 liters bioreactors within the coming years.

Going into the role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and metrology activities within our DSM (Drug Substance Manufacturing) facilities, heading up a department of people managers, a few specialists, and a total of 60 FTEs. Our many skilled technicians in the department either keep production running by maintaining and fixing the production equipment, and others do the important calibrations ensuring reliable readings in the productions.
You will be an important part of the Technical Operation & Maintenance leadership team, an organization with ~160 FTEs, where we are responsible for the technical operation at the site and preventive & corrective maintenance within our running productions. Furthermore, we are supporting multiple expansion projects and together as a team we will set a strategic direction for the department and foster a safe and trusted culture aligned with Fujifilm values.
Additionally, You Will:
- Coach and develop leaders at different levels
- Ensure efficient operation and collaboration in the teams
- Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across the entire value chain
- Further development and anchoring of a strong GMP culture
- Ensure development and improvement of maintenance processes and standards
- Promote and support systematic problem solving and continuous improvement
- Oversee budget and costs
- Take part in the strategic work where we together set the direction for the future
- Be responsible for KPIs and benchmarks for your department, where you ensure that the organization remains competitive in the market

- 5+ years of leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to set a clear direction at all levels
- A good understanding and experience with complex processes and change management
- A role model who practices visible leadership
- Talent to build trust and psychological safety at all organizational levels
- Competencies to promote a culture of trust, ownership, and empowerment
- English skills, fluent spoken and written
