As a Quality and Patient Safety Lead Healthcare Executive, you will collaborate with key individuals within the client teams to optimize the quality and patient safety culture across the system. The Quality Patient Safety Lead Healthcare Executive in coordination with the client, will align methodologies to measure, evaluate and improve quality and safety across the enterprise, in partnership with clinical and patient safety leadership teams across multiple organizations both internal and externally.
You will be accountable for highly complex, multi-site client quality and patient safety programs as well as working with the client for mitigation and resolution strategies for risks proactively. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. You will develop and maintain a coordinated approach to safety programs, assisting the client in the management of adverse events with analysis, intervention, identification of systemic issues, and widespread communications of key learnings. Develop longitudinal relationships with key client executives and drive discussions concerning strategy, structure, management and operations to support enterprise-wide leadership, and safety/quality teams to ensure that organizational wide safety and quality goals and objectives and risk reduction strategies are implemented effectively wherever appropriate while engaging stakeholders in the process.
This individual develops, directs, and facilitates organizational-wide care transformation activities and programs (clinical, operational and service line) aimed to improve patient care, create an extraordinary patient and caregiver experience, and enhance and strengthen the culture of safety and quality within the system.
Your role will require directing a team of associates responsible for delivering value to the client and support the execution of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve patient safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Clinical licensure preferred)
- At least 7 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
- At least 2 years of Quality, Patient Safety/Risk management health care experience
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
- Expertise in facilitation and management of group processes focused on systems thinking and objectively assessing and modifying workflow processes to improve safety and quality.
- Expertise in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement principles and practices
- Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working for the Federal government in any capacity
- Must be willing to travel up to 80% as needed
- At least 2 years licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or relevant clinical degree

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
