Medical Laboratory Technician - Providence Kodiak

Provides accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provides technical expertise to Providence Alaska Medical Center Lab and other healthcare institutions.

We are hiring for Medical Laboratory Technician position at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 0.9 FTE, 12-hr Day shifts, 36 hours per week.

$7,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology. Or equivalent educ/experience.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists. Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or 
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists. Or 
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of clinical lab.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
