A Day In The Life

Bakken Research Center (BRC) is a hub for research and innovation, established in 1987 as Medtronic’s first international research center, with an initial focus on cardiac pacing. Since then, BRC has played a pivotal role in advancing innovation in collaboration with European clinicians.

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who is interested in combining FP&A responsibilities with local finance duties. You will be part of a small, dedicated team based in Maastricht within the Global R&D Finance Center of Excellence, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, BRC.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Act as Finance Business Partner to BRC Stakeholders
• Execute financial planning activities, including Forecasts, AOP
• Support overall BRC FP&A activities
• Perform month end close activities
• Maintain Master Data in SAP and other systems
• Follow up on Local Finance related requests from e.g. Controllership, Tax or PTP

Required Knowledge And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
• 4+ Years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
• Team player with a strong partnering mindset
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex tasks and processes
• Critical thinking to drive efficiencies and enhance performance, in-depth analysis and recommendations

We welcome candidates with an FP&A background and a solid understanding of Medtronic’s FP&A processes. A strong accounting background and familiarity with relevant Medtronic policies are also highly valued.
