Purpose:

The Business Product Director, Business Outcomes Delivery (BOD), will have global responsibility for establishing a robust model to develop business representatives and subject matter experts for and across non-medicinal products in the area of Labeling. This role will set the vision and prioritize new products and features, translating business needs into actionable user stories. Leading and guiding the team in effective product management practices, the focus will be on identifying opportunities as new products undergo governance. Additionally, this role will be part of the BOD leadership team, helping set the strategy for the BOD organization.

The Business Product Director will increase cross-GRA adoption of transformed ways of working to maximise their impacts and realise their benefits. They will also leverage the power of regulatory data/information, operational transformation, and advanced strategic capabilities to establish strategic capabilities that accelerate, improve, and optimise alignment with HA requirements and regulatory-related best practices for Labeling.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Lead and drive the overall vision, strategy, and OKRs for products, aligning them with business objectives and opportunities.
  • Identify and analyze unmet customer needs, evaluate the competitive landscape, and collaborate with team members to shape strategies for solving key problems and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Set priorities, shape the product backlog, and guide the translation of requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, leveraging business expertise and a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Define and track meaningful metrics throughout the product lifecycle to ensure business value realization, including monitoring end user KPIs and product performance.
  • Take ownership of intake commitments, roadmap development, and the overall quality of work products produced by the product teams.
  • Act as an influential decision-maker in cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, and resolution of roadblocks to drive alignment and progress across teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance in shaping team vision, setting roadmaps, and leading teams to deliver high-impact solutions that drive business value.
  • Drive necessary changes to business processes, adoption strategies, and other elements to maximize the value derived from the products and solutions delivered.
  • Serve as the "voice of the customer" and ensure that the teams are building the right products and solutions that meet stated business needs and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, clarifying requirements and delivery expectations, and ensuring successful product launches and continuous improvement efforts across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or technical discipline, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry required.
  • People and team management experience required.
  • Background in product/project management preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to be detail-oriented and while communicating top down at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into information, and strategies into actionable plans.
  • Experience leading strategic product initiatives and managing complex projects.
  • Mastery within regulatory affairs and advanced understanding across and outside of regulatory affairs.
