Job Roles/Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the preparation of architectural drawings for renovations & capital projects at AKU buildings & campuses, local and international:

• Architectural concept of a project
• Prepare schematic and CD drawings (drafting)
• Prepare 3D views wherever required for presentation to user team and leadership
• Coordinate with external and internal consultants
• Review and issue construction drawings
• Meet with Structural and MEP Consultant and coordinate with architectural drawings
• Meet with users, bio-medical, electronic, IT, Safety & Security, HSE, construction, FMD and other internal teams to formulate desired document
• Must be proficient in using AutoCAD, BIM, AI, SketchUp, Photoshop MS Office and related computersoftware.
• Excellent customer service & influencing skills including ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people across AKU.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.

Requirements:

You Must Have:

• Bachelor of Architecture from PCATP registered university. PCATP registration required.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience. Healthcare experience will be preferred.
• Analytical abilities with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working with minimum supervision and leading the team.
• Familiar with quality assurance systems and concepts.
