Job Roles/Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the preparation of architectural drawings for renovations & capital projects at AKU buildings & campuses, local and international:
- Architectural concept of a project
- Prepare schematic and CD drawings (drafting)
- Prepare 3D views wherever required for presentation to user team and leadership
- Coordinate with external and internal consultants
- Review and issue construction drawings
- Meet with Structural and MEP Consultant and coordinate with architectural drawings
- Meet with users, bio-medical, electronic, IT, Safety & Security, HSE, construction, FMD and other internal teams to formulate desired document
- Must be proficient in using AutoCAD, BIM, AI, SketchUp, Photoshop MS Office and related computersoftware.
- Excellent customer service & influencing skills including ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people across AKU.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
Requirements:
You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Architecture from PCATP registered university. PCATP registration required.
- 2 to 4 years of related experience. Healthcare experience will be preferred.
- Analytical abilities with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of working with minimum supervision and leading the team.
- Familiar with quality assurance systems and concepts.
