Manager – Electrical Design, Design and Engineering

Reporting to Director Design Office, you will play a technical lead role to undertake Electrical Design and work including systems design, production, specifications and schedules. You will provide reports and advice to clients.

Other Responsibilities Will Include:

• undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required
• advice on technical design matters related to Electrical work and ensures compliance
• responsible for design of low and medium voltage electrical network, internal and external lighting, power, LAN, telephone, CCTV, MATV, Fire alarm, door access control system, grounding and lightning protection
• preparation of specifications, BOQ, engineer's cost estimate construction tender drawings for electrical design and review of the consultants design
• coordination with user, architects, consultants, vendors and contractors to resolve the issues and ensure quality, budget limits, and concerning to technical aspects of projects
• implement construction work on site throughout contractor or in-house resources and maintain quality of electrical works, supervision in accordance with local and international code and standards
• develop and review detailed drawings, specification and coordination for design of electrical works including HL/LV distribution system. 

• Bachelors of Engineering (Electrical)
• at least 15 years of relevant professional experience in Electrical Design, including 2-3 years in an advisory role
• must be proficient in using Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD), MS Office, BIM and MS Project
• knowledge of MEP disciplines and familiarity with architectural field
• excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• experience in supervising a team producing drawings, models and calculation
• desire to work in a multidisciplinary team finding holistic building design solutions
• detailed knowledge of development control and planning policy processes.
