This is a remote position.
We’re looking for a Director of Sales to join Nexton!
As the Director of Sales, you will spearhead both our Sales and Account Management teams. This role is central to driving Nexton’s market expansion and client retention strategies. You will lead the charge in acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts, embodying our commitment to excellence and innovation in client service. This position demands a robust commercial acumen combined with strategic vision, leadership prowess, and a profound customer-centric orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of client relationships from onboarding through expansion, focusing on long-term value creation.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, setting clear goals and benchmarks related to new client acquisition and account growth.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to grow both new and existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services, with a strong focus on identifying and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key clients, coordinating with internal teams to achieve exceptional service delivery.
- Address and resolve client issues and escalations with a strategic focus on fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive new business through effective networking and referral generation, leveraging personal and professional networks to enhance Nexton’s market presence.
- Hands-on experience in selling B2B services is highly valued, particularly in environments where the leader also actively drives strategic deals
Requirements
- 10+ years in a client-facing role within a fast-paced, tech-based and data-driven environment.
- 7+ years of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to scale sales and account management teams effectively.
- Proven track record in establishing and optimizing robust sales processes in competitive and saturated B2B services markets.
- Experience implementing Revenue Operations (RevOps) to streamline sales processes, boost efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering superior client service.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills, driven by a mission to make a positive impact.
- Proven experience building and scaling in-house sales and account teams (not through external consulting)

- Technical background, particularly in software development or technical recruiting.
