Capgemini is seeking Technical Program Director with expertise in NGPOS/QSR domain. This is hybrid fulltime position in Seattle, WA. Ideal candidate should local or willing to relocate to Seattle.

Your Role

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of NGPOS technology initiatives including system upgrades, hardware rollouts, integration with payment processors, and feature enhancements tailored for QSR operations.
  • Partner closely with engineering, IT, restaurant operations, finance, and third-party vendors to define project scope, manage dependencies, and align program goals with business requirements.
  • Manage relationships with NGPOS vendors, payment gateways, and service providers to ensure compliance with performance, security, and budget expectations.
  • Oversee adherence to industry and corporate standards such as PCI DSS, data security, and QSR operational policies specific to NGPOS deployments.
  • Lead pilot programs and phased rollouts of NGPOS updates and new features, ensuring minimal disruption during peak QSR hours (rush periods).
  • Analyze NGPOS system performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for enhancements, integrating with complementary systems like kitchen display (KDS), drive-thru, and mobile ordering platforms.
  • Extensive experience managing NGPOS platforms in Quick Service Restaurant settings.
  • Strong knowledge of QSR workflows, including drive-thru, kiosks, and digital ordering.
  • Proven ability to manage hardware-software integration projects involving NGPOS technology and third-party systems.
  • Skilled in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable and reliable NGPOS solutions.
  • Define and drive the technical architecture strategy for NGPOS implementations ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards and QSR business goals.Collaborate with architects, engineering leads, and vendors to design scalable, secure, and high-availability POS solutions.
  • Develop architecture artifacts including system diagrams, integration flows, and deployment blueprints specific to NGPOS.
  • Lead governance forums and architecture review boards (ARBs) related to POS systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams to enable best practices in system integration and program execution.
  • Drive vendor selection and evaluation processes based on architectural fit, scalability, and compliance with security standards.
  • Advocate for continuous innovation and modernization of the NGPOS platform in line with emerging QSR technology trends.

Your skills and experience

  • •    5+ years in technical program or project management.
  • •    3+ years managing POS systems, with specific experience in NGPOS within QSR environments.
  • •    Proven track record of managing vendor partnerships and multi-location technology rollouts.
  • •    Deep understanding of NGPOS platform capabilities, payment integrations, and QSR operational requirements.
  • •    Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and POS security standards related to NGPOS systems.
  • •    Hands-on experience with NGPOS system architecture, cloud integrations, and API interfaces.
  • •    Knowledge of payment processing technologies integrated with NGPOS.
  • •    Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •    Ability to drive collaboration across teams and manage complex program delivery in a fast-paced environment.
