Business Intelligence Analyst- Continuous Improvement

What you will be doing as a Continuous Improvement Business Analyst:

In this role, you can expect to transform complex data into powerful insights that drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement. You'll collaborate across teams to uncover trends, visualize performance, and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives using tools like Power BI and Power Apps. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Data Reporting & Visualization: Build and maintain reports using Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, and DAX to monitor daily operations and performance
• Strategic Analysis: Deliver regular and ad-hoc insights that help convert data into actionable strategies for business leaders
• Solution Development: Design technical and process-based solutions that address business needs and enhance efficiency
• Data Quality & Governance: Support data governance by helping define and uphold standards for data accuracy and consistency
• Best Practices & Documentation: Document proven analytics solutions and establish best practices for scalable implementation
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data professionals across departments to strengthen analytics capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making

What you need to be successful:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related technical field is required
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences is needed
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint is helpful
• Analytics & Programming Tools: Hands-on experience with analytics tools like SAS, R, SQL, Python, and related libraries is helpful
• Data Visualization: Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for creating impactful visual insights is helpful
• Database & Metrics Expertise: Experience working with relational databases, building complex datasets, and identifying meaningful metrics is helpful
• Continuous Learning: Self-motivation to explore and adopt new tools, software, and processes is helpful
• Aviation Experience: Familiarity with the aviation industry and overall environment is helpful
