We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Vendor & Market Research Specialist to join our team on an ongoing, contract basis. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will be responsible for building a comprehensive database of vendors across various industries and cities in the United States.

This position requires a sharp researcher who can efficiently and accurately gather specific data points, primarily through online research. The ideal candidate will be methodical in their approach and committed to maintaining a high standard of data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Data Collection: Conduct targeted research to find and document vendors (e.g., catering, photography, venues) in specific cities across the U.S.
Information Gathering: Systematically collect key data points for each vendor, including business name, contact information, average pricing/rates, and a brief description of their services.
Data Entry & Management: Populate a shared spreadsheet or database with all collected information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Project-Based Research: Fulfill specific research requests, such as "Find 10 catering companies, their average rates, and contact information in Seattle, Washington.
Quality Assurance: Review and verify existing data to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in online research, data collection, or a similar role.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or other data management tools.Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
