Sr. Kinaxis Functional Lead/Architect - Mostly Remote with some travel

What You Will Do

• Evaluate the overall data integration roadmap for deployments and provide expert guidance on creative technology solution, aligning with customer business needs and best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in highly complex system integrations, including validation, testing of the solution and optimization of data flows.
• Support customers and partners in identifying and implementing solutions tailored to
• individual data flows, leveraging deep proficiency in Kinaxis Integration Platform Suite, Maestro data model, and REST based API Integration capabilities.
• Identify risks to system integrations and provide inputs on developing mitigation plans for deployments.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations during critical deployment escalations to resolve complex data integration or conversion challenges.
• Drive adoption of integration best practice on deployments to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, fostering strong collaboration with partners and customers

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field.
• 7 – 10 years’ experience in business software consulting or software deployment, preferably in supply chain.
• 5+ years as an Integration expert for enterprise level supply chain transformation projects, deploying Kinaxis Maestro solutions and applications.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and coaching/mentoring capabilities within a dedicated work team.
• Proficiency with the software deployment life cycle; including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, time management, and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Role Specific Skills and experience
• Experience deploying Kinaxis Maestro solution and applications.
• Expert level understanding of the Maestro data model and Integration methods.
• Substantial experience and understanding with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatic, SAP CPI/Data Services, OWB, MuleSoft, etc.
• Database level understanding extracting data from enterprise class ERP systems including SAP/APO, Oracle, and JDE.
• Experience with connection functionality to SAP (through BAPI / RFC), databases, files, web, SOAP.
• Experience working with relational databases and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Web Services / REST APIs.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work effectively remotely from client sites

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

1. Data Inbound: Master and transactional data are extracted from source systems like SAP ERP and S/4HANA using SAP CPI-DS. 
2. Data Processing: The data is transformed and loaded into IBP's harmonized data model on the SAP HANA database. 
3. Planning and Analytics: Users perform demand, supply, and inventory planning, leverage AI-powered analytics, and simulate scenarios within the IBP platform. 
4. Data Outbound: Planning results and other data can be sent back to operational systems like S/4HANA for execution, to BW for reporting, or to other tools for further analysis.
