Senior Manager, Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain monthly and weekly production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.

Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and SCM teams to align production schedules with customer requirements and delivery commitments.

Monitor raw material availability, batch-wise planning, and ensure timely issuance of production orders.

Ensure regulatory compliance (USFDA, WHO, etc.) in all planning activities, including documentation and traceability.

Track WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods inventory to avoid stockouts or overproduction.

Collaborate with QA/QC, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

Analyze capacity utilization, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization.

Generate and share MIS reports on production performance, delays, and forecast accuracy.

Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation related to production planning.

Education: B.Pharm / M.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical)

Experience: 15-20 years in API manufacturing (USFDA-approved facility preferred)

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
