Job Description

Engineering & Quality Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects, manage coach and lead a varied group of engineers, develop strategies to enhance innovation, manage budgets, implement technical standards ensure successful project execution along with the overseeing of equipment maintenance, ensuring all site service adhere to regulated compliance and promote a safety-first culture within the process engineering and plant maintenance departments. Responsibility will also cover ensuring the companies products and services meet internal end external standards and maintain the quality management system.

Qualifications

  • Degree Level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and Quality
  • PLC Programming knowledge / Experience
  • Machine shop experience      

Additional Information

  • Software proficiency:  require proficiency in industry-specific software, such as 2D/3D CAD skills (Inventor or SolidWorks preferred). Project Management tools,
  • Engineering Principles: understands engineering principles, enabling them to use complex systems and provide project guidance. knowledge of these principles enables them to innovate and devise efficient strategies to help optimise team performance and project outcomes.
  • Quality: Manage the quality department to improve standards and performance, investigate and respond to customer complaints and non-conformance issues, ensure that the quality departments procedures are implemented during every step of the company’s processes, leading role in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards for all employees.
  • Equipment Operation: understands how to operate various equipment in their industry to oversee the safe use This includes machinery such as hydraulic presses, computer numerical control machines, testing apparatus and software systems.
  • Technical writing: apply technical writing skills to produce clear and comprehensive documents, such as project reports, operation manuals and proposals.
  • Regulatory knowledge: knowledge of relevant industry regulations to ensure that work processes and outcomes comply with legal regulations. Examples of such regulations may include safety and industry-specific standards and environmental regulations.
  • Project management: project management skills to organise tasks, manage timelines and control budgets. These skills contribute to the efficient execution of projects.
  • Leadership: guide their teams towards project goals. They motivate team members, resolve disputes, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Technical Background [Experience up to 5 years+ ]
  • Ability to read/understand Engineering drawings.
  • Resilient – Always able to demonstrate a Can-do Attitude.
  • Self-Awareness – Demonstrate a level of Emotional Intelligence.
  • Communication – Adaptable and Transparent Dialogue
  • Leadership Continuum – Ability to move through the Leadership styles

  • Must be able to demonstrate Team Player
  • Desirable: 6sigma certification

  • Deliver On Time Every Time for Bespoke Manufacturing
