Position Summary

Join our Finance Master Data team and help us ensure the integrity of our vendor and customer records across global systems. This position supports the FMC Master Data Governance group (MDG) by providing master data support for all sites globally. This position will ensure accurate master data enabling transactions to be executed in the system in accordance with process, policies and standards.

The Role

• Act as finance approver for creation and maintenance of 3rd-party vendor and customer master data in SAP S/4HANA and MDG (Master Data Governance) systems.
• Review and validate third-party data requests for completeness and compliance with global data standards.
• Process and validate new supplier records onboarded through Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance), ensuring correct legal, tax, and banking information.
• Conduct verification calls with suppliers to confirm bank account changes, ensuring anti-fraud protocols and audit compliance.
• Partner with Accounts Payable team to resolve invoice exceptions caused by master data issues.
• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Finance, and IT teams to resolve data quality issues or escalations.
• Respond to all internal and external inquiries related to vendor and customer master data, ensuring timely resolution via email, chats or ServiceNow tickets.
• Ensure master data changes are processed accurately and within SLA timelines.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to master data controls.
• Participate in data cleansing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 to 2 years' experience in master data management, finance operations, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP MDG is required.
• Experience with Ariba SLP and supplier onboarding processes is an advantage.
• Experience with bank fraud detection processes is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a multicultural environment.
