Senior Data Engineer

ClubCorp is looking for a highly-motivated and experienced senior data engineer and data technology expert who will be responsible for creating and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support enterprise data analytics.  The Senior Data Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and analytics solutions focused on website performance and user behavior. This role will be instrumental in leveraging tools like Google Analytics, BigQuery, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics to deliver actionable insights that drive digital strategy and enhance user experience across Invited Clubs’ web platforms.

Responsible For:

Website Analytics & Tagging:

Implement and manage Google Analytics tracking across multiple club websites.

Set up BigQuery exports and manage GA data pipelines for scalable analysis. 

Collaborate with marketing and UX teams to define KPIs and tagging strategies.

Visualization & Reporting:

Build interactive dashboards in Power BI to visualize traffic trends, conversion metrics, and engagement patterns. 

Ensure reports are intuitive and tailored to stakeholders across marketing, product, and executive teams.

Data Governance & Quality:

Implement rigorous data validation and quality checks.

Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and analytics processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with UX designers, developers, and business analysts to align analytics with strategic goals. 

Support QA/UAT processes during website redesign and rollout phases.

Required Qualifications And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Expertise in Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms and tag management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines
• Deep analytical, planning and problem-solving skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
