The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the company. This role involves facilitating new hire orientation, preparing onboarding materials, coordinating tech procurement, and serving as the primary point of contact for new employees during their initial period. The Onboarding Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring new hires feel welcomed and informed about company policies, culture, and expectations, and provides training and coaching for the first three weeks.

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Ensure all necessary onboarding paperwork is completed and processed.
  • Introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Develop and implement onboarding schedules and checklists.
  • Communicate with new hires prior to their start date to provide necessary information and answer any questions.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure new hires have the necessary tools, access, and resources.
  • Design and implement a training program for new hires covering the first three weeks.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to new employees.
  • Monitor new hires’ progress and adjust training plans as necessary.
  • Ensure new hires are proficient in their roles by the end of the initial training period.
  • Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure timely procurement and setup of technology and equipment for new hires.
  • Provide new hires with necessary login information and access to company systems.
  • Troubleshoot any initial technical issues and liaise with IT for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company-specific onboarding requirements.
  • Monitor and track completion of onboarding tasks and training.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.
  • Address any issues or concerns that new hires may have.
  • Facilitate introductions and connections between new hires and their teams.
  • Collect feedback from new hires regarding the onboarding process.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Stay updated on best practices and trends in onboarding and employee engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in human resources, onboarding, or employee relations preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting training sessions is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • This position typically operates in a professional office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support onboarding activities at different locations.

Pay: $ $100,000 - $110,000 DOE

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
