Generative AI Engineer

As a GenAI data engineer in Project Hafnia, you will be responsible for preparing the data and pipeline for advanced fine-tuning of General-purpose AI models and generate diverse, high-fidelity synthetic visual data that can enhance computer vision model performance and coverage. Your capacity to bridge software engineering, prompt engineering, and data operations will be critical in using and scaling our data assets with the right quality and diversity. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to contribute to advanced annotations and training mechanisms, drive synthetic data generation, ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.

You will join our innovative and entrepreneurial development team at Milestone global leader in data-driven video management solutions. Our mission is to build a suite of services surrounding a responsible data library as its core, leveraging compliant, high-quality and ethically sourced video data. To achieve that, we follow our long-term strategy, continuously scrutinize the emerging AI and stick to our ethical tech and responsible use of technology agenda.

Your Owned Perimeter:

As a GenAI Data Engineer, you will be responsibilities and be the main point of reference for:

• Orchestrate general purpose AI model training, selecting and preparing data, while experimenting at scale on our infrastructure at the edge of innovation.
• Design and generate high-quality synthetic data, taking into overwatching and experimenting with prompts and various video and image based scenarios.
• Gatekeep of data quality and diversity: develop methods to validate, test, and iterate on datasets to ensure they meet quality, standards and avoid unintended bias.
• Collaborate with our machine learning and computer vision experts to understand model limitations and identify data needs for the next use cases.
• Contribute to build and automate the data pipeline to scale the caption, generation and quality evaluation of our data.
• Lead the generative AI data strategy, track, control and document the long-term effects of data (real and synthetic) on computer vision models.

You might be the person we are looking for if you bring curiosity and craft and if you are passionate about data generation and have a deep understanding of prompt strategies. Key qualifications include:

Dream Technical Skills:

• Statistical data sense, capacity to analyze and crunch number to evaluate dataset distributions, detect anomalies and ensure diversity. 
• Prompt engineering experts – ability to create and refine prompts for video GenAI with a creative and experimental mindset.
• Played around with Nvidia Metropolis or other vision AI application platform.
• Proficiency in Python to experiment and support the integrations of fine-tuning architecture and automated synthetic data pipelines.
• Knowledge of machine learning to understand frameworks and AI training workflows.
• Bonus for knowledge of ETLs or cloud -based orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow).

Expected Experience Or Equivalent:

• Hands-on experience with data processing, generative AI tools or transformer models.
• Experience with synthetic data generation in a professional context where willingness to learn is es-sential.
• Proven experience working within or next to an engineering team at the edge of technology
• Experience in data quality and assessment 
• Familiarity with responsible AI, bias mitigation and data protection best practices
