Newly Created Role

With a clear Transformation Plan for targeted growth over the next 2-5 years, we are excited to welcome an experienced FP&A Analyst to our Head Office Finance Team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for delivering strategic financial insights and supporting decision-making across all functional business units. You will work across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis functions, acting as a key business partner to senior business unit leaders in Sales, Marketing and People and Culture.

Reporting to our Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you may bring with you a background from Chartered and have developed your passion for and skills in FP&A Analysis for the last 2-3 years in a Commercial business - ideally Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceutical or other Consumer-Goods focused industry.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Planning

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts and monthly Latest View (LV) Processes
  • Drive the SG&A Cost Budgeting Forecasting with People and Culture and all other Functional Cost Centre Owners
  • Support FP&A Manager with consolidation of Budget and Forecast Loads into Adaptive Insights
  • Undertake analysis of the business to identify opportunities and disrupters to achieving strategic business goals.

Closing And Reporting

  • Ensure accuracy of the GL and prepared detailed SG&A reporting by cost centre owners
  • Communicate monthly SG&A results to functional cost centre owners, understand key drivers, proactively identify and recommend cost saving and profit improvement opportunities

Data, Systems and Technology

  • Support Group FP&A manager in owning & optimising FP&A systems ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with IT and Finance stakeholders to enhance data integrity and system functionality, implement new tools, and support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and scenario modelling to provide predictive insights and enable faster, more informed decision-making. · Support in championing process automation and simplification within FP&A, using technology to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

About You:

You're a passionate FP&A Analyst looking to progress your career, where your insights will directly shape our business performance. This is a high-profile role and the work you do in this role will leave a legacy you can build on for future personal and professional growth.

You Will Also Bring:

  • CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA Qualified with exceptional stakeholder and business partnering skills
  • 2–4 years’ experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles in a commercial business. This will not suit a first-stepper from a Chartered Environment.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting capability
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial systems (Adaptive Planning ideal. We also use Power BI for our Dashboard reporting)
  • Strong communicator with a commercial mindset and ability to perform well under pressure
