We are hiring Senior Security Consultant!
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant with a strong background in cyber security, system architecture, and advanced security solutions. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients strengthen their security posture, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with clients to design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks tailored to their unique environments.
In This Role, You Will:
- Deploy and maintain SIEM products and log management applications (including deployment planning, maintenance, and development).
- Analyze customer requirements and define development tasks.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on security tools, processes, and best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain system and network architectures to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Define, prioritize and document cyber security requirements for information systems.
You will be based at the DNV´s office in Espoo Finland.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have:
Qualifications:
- Experience in adapting product solutions to target environments
- Practical experience in maintaining and integrating Linux environments and applications, including coding
- Interest in training customer experts and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to work independently in customer-facing roles
- Strong background in system and network architecture design, knowledge of information networks and their data network solutions, firewalls, switches, etc.
- Experience in defining and securing security requirements for information systems, for example for procurements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Fluent in English and Finnish
- Finnish citizenship
Beneficial Skills:
- Proven experience in deploying SIEM solutions and log management tools. e.g., Splunk, Elastic, IBM QRadar)
- Proven experience in deployment of software with orchestration tools for example (Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet or Chef)
- Experience in designing, procuring, developing, deploying, maintaining, or managing safety-critical and aircap-supported environments (classified environments (TL IV – TL II).
- Experience in designing, developing, documenting, maintaining, or managing system architecture and/or network architecture
- Understanding threat modeling methodologies and experience in threat modeling of systems and entities using methods such as STRIDE or Bowtie
Personal Qualities:
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently in the customer interface and drive projects to successful completion
