To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking a Junior Process Engineering Specialist to join our teams located in our Calgary, Alberta office.

As a Junior Process Engineering Specialist, you will be mentored by senior engineer to develop skills in problem solving, facility design and drawing development.  You will be part of our growing team, using your skills as an Engineer to design facilities across Canada and globally.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Collaborate with different disciplines at WSP to provide expertise and client deliverables on projects.
  • Complete day-to-day activities under the guidance of a more senior process engineer, including: Process Simulations, Equipment Sizing / Data Sheets, Line Sizing Calculations, Instrument Data Sheets, PFD Development, P&ID Markups, Process Studies. 

What You’Ll Bring To Wsp:

  • University or equivalent education or experience in Chemical Engineering
  • Ideally at least 1+ years of work experience within the Oil and Gas industry; ideally with gas processing plants - coop experience considered.
  • P.Eng license with APEGA eligible.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment in a supporting role to develop your skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be organized and complete tasks with a focus on quality, schedule and budget.
