Industrial Mechanic/Millwright- Co-op

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice Co-op for our Hagersville facility. Working knowledge of safety standards and procedures in an industrial environment.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematic and drawings to determine work procedures.

Assist with corrective action and required repairs. Conduct planned preventive & predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.

Proficient Mechanical Understanding.

• General welding and fabrication knowledge.
• Knowledge of a preventative maintenance program.
• Job Requirements: Working towards a Millwright certification is required.

Knowledge of mill equipment, conveyors, and packaging equipment is an asset. Demonstrates the ability to work safely.

Demonstrated Troubleshooting Skills.

Highly motivated, results orientated team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Well organized, positive attitude.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors will be required. Abilities to work weekends as required.
