Position Description:
The Digital Retail Manager is responsible for driving our digital automotive sales strategies and enhancing the overall online customer experience. Leveraging your profound understanding of automotive industry trends and digital marketing practices, you will lead the implementation of innovative online sales approaches and ensure seamless integration between our digital platforms and the physical showroom.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Maximize the internet department's profitability.
- Drive consistent utilization of existing technologies.
- Set benchmarks, manage, and maintain budgets.
- Dynamic internet lead response and follow-up.
- Expert negotiation, closing, and marketing skills.
- Enhance performance metrics and CRM.
- Mentor and train team members to achieve optimal performance.
- Comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Serves as the Brand Compliance Internet Manager.
- Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services. Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
- Checks e-mail frequently and respond to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly.
- Coordinates Internet promotions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising.
- Research auto-buying services on the internet and acts as a liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertise.
- Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business. Must be familiar with CRM and VIN software to maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
- Attends product and sales training/meetings as requested/required.
- Maintain Customer Service Index, Gross Average, and monthly units to dealership standard.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Automotive Internet Sales experience required.
- Automotive Sales Management Experience Required.
- Proven track record in digital marketing and e-commerce within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of online retail platforms, customer relationship management (CRM), and lead management systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, using insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
- Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections.
- Quality customer service skills and sales track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phone.
- Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process.
- Proficient in basic business math including percentages.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs.

Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
