Our program management team partners with Product Management and Engineering. They own and drive the innovation of our Enterprise Security Products for our customers. Dedicated to our flagship Security products. Oversight of the whole product lifecycle and the delivery of key strategic programs.

Shape the success of projects

Driving cross-functional collaboration across product lifecycles, this role oversees complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Success in this impactful position directly supports team objectives and advances Akamai's key business goals.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing cross-functional teams, improving operational processes, and offering expertise in planning and executing diverse projects.
• Collaborating with Customer Success to enhance experiences, establishing feedback loops, and aligning insights with product development.
• Monitoring, documenting, and presenting program status, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and success metrics to senior internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Product Line and Engineering Leadership, identifying problems, prioritizing needs, ensuring accountability, proposing innovative solutions.
• Adopting best-practice guidelines to influencing and implementing continuous improvements to the processes.
• Working with Customer Success by working with Product and Engineering leadership team daily.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bring 5+ of program or project management experience, ideally collaborating closely with customer-focused teams.
• Unite stakeholders, including engineers, VPs, and Customer Success Managers, around shared goals focused on customer success.
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication abilities while showcasing leadership experience and self-motivation.
• Have an excellent knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Jira/Confluence
• Be familiar with development processes and lifecycle
• Have an experienced in working with large number of stakeholders in / cross units
• Manage and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization, including diverse cultures, leadership levels, and time zones.
• Think strategically and be able to dive to technical aspects quickly
