FIELD SALES RERESENTATIVE (REGIONAL SALES MANAGER) - MUST LIVE IN WESTERN US (CA, AZ, NV, NM, UT, WA, OR, CO, WY, ID, MT, AK) - (NEAR MAJOR AIRPORT PREFERRED)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, modifies and implements yearly marketing and sales plans for assigned accounts. Providesa yearly forecast for each account and provides to department and product management.
- Completes all assigned projects in a timely manner and within the assigned budget.
- Organizes and monitors the activities of existing customers in order to achieve sales goals. Maintainsfrequent communication with customers regarding account status, any order or delivery issues, andproviding information on new or redesigned products.
- Reviews daily/monthly reports to watch for any downward trends and addresses as needed. Reportsout to management on territory activity, including, but not limited to, sales forecasts, sales calls madeon existing and potential customers, and future planned activity. Working in conjunction withmanufactures reps to identify opportunities within the set territory. Also monitors and reports oncompetitor activities and overall market conditions.
- Monitors and follows up with management on any customer payment issues and ensures thatpayments are received according to payment terms.
- Assists customers with the processing of any warranty claims.
- Attends regional trade shows to support customer and product line growth activities. Facilitatescustomer training sessions as needed.
- Travels to DPAM headquarters and branches for scheduled meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Previous automotive aftermarket experience preferred

- Excellent project management skills including the ability to define program, project or processobjectives, identify customers/stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and to coordinateresources to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a skillful presenter that can interpretinformation based on a general knowledge of the organization, its products and procedures, andprovide an independent explanation and discussion based on the technical or complex nature ofthe materials being discussed
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to approach every business relationshippartnership
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to independently evaluate and develop innovativesolutions to complex situations, applying knowledge of specialty area and use of sound judgment
- Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to resolve difficult or complicated situations that are oftensensitive in nature. Recognizes and applies subtle cues in anticipating customers’ needs andpotential next steps. Takes strong stand without indicating disrespect and seeks positiveoutcomes
Physical Demands:
- Visual requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision. Physical requirements
- include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, talking, hearing and repetitive
- motions. The work environment for this position is typically indoors in a pleasant, well-lighted area
- with comfortable temperatures and a controlled environment with no significant amounts of dust,
- fumes or odors. Unavoidable accidents and health hazards are unlikely.
