Digital Humanities Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• 20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose Of Position

Assist Dr. Alberts with Mellon grant to include Scholarly Commons uploads, metadata creation, organizing electronic files, and general light office assistance (scanning, copying, etc.). This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

This is a part-time non benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scanning/digitizing archival material 
• Researching archival collections 
• Curating digital collections 

Minimum Requirements

• Must have experience with Digital Humanities

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cultural collections care, English/History/AIS/ majors, and those with knowledge of tribal nations within North Dakota.
