Job Summary:
The Corporate HR Manager serves as a key partner to the Vice President of Human Capital, supporting enterprise-wide compliance, corporate policy development, and regulatory initiatives. While this role functions as the dedicated HR representative for an assigned state, it also carries broader corporate responsibilities to ensure accountability, consistency, and alignment across the Human Capital team. The Corporate HR Manager will work closely with the VP to monitor team performance against established metrics, enforce deadlines, and uphold organizational standards across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP of Human Capital to support compliance, corporate governance, and policy initiatives.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific mandates (HIPAA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA).
- Serve as the dedicated HR point of contact for employees and managers within the assigned state, providing guidance on policies, processes, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with the VP to design and implement compliance training, audits, and reporting processes.
- Track and monitor HR team metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, onboarding compliance, LOA timeliness, policy adherence) and hold team members accountable for deliverables.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance in multi-state operations.
- Manage and maintain confidential personnel records, including licensure, credentialing, and performance documentation.
- Provide oversight and guidance on leave administration, performance management, compensation review cycles, and other enterprise HR functions.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly and quarterly reports on workforce metrics, turnover, compliance, and other HR data.
- Support organizational initiatives in employee engagement, DEI, and workforce development.
- Participate in investigations, conflict resolution, and other employee relations activities as assigned.
- Act as a thought partner to the VP of Human Capital in advancing HR strategy, ensuring corporate consistency while balancing state-specific requirements.
- Develop and improve repeatable HR processes and provide training to employees and managers.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compliance and policy.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws; healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing or supporting multi-state HR operations.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and hold teams accountable to goals and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong HRIS and reporting capabilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Must be a permanent resident of Arizona.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with UKG.
- Healthcare HR experience.
