Group Director, Medical Services & Clinical Governance

Cabrini Health is seeking an exceptional senior medical leader to join our Executive Team as Group Director, Medical Services & Clinical Governance (GDMS&CG).
This pivotal role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of Cabrini’s medical services division, including responsibility for more than 1,600 specialists. You will lead and inspire a highly skilled medical workforce, foster strong engagement, and promote a culture of excellence in clinical governance, safety, and innovation.

Key Accountabilities
As Gdms&Cg, You Will:
- Provide executive leadership across medical services, clinical governance, pharmacy, diagnostic services and infection control.
- Shape and deliver Cabrini’s vision for safe, evidence-based and compassionate patient care.
- Lead workforce engagement, credentialing processes, and uphold professional standards.
- Drive clinical excellence, risk management and accreditation compliance.
- Partner with the Chief Executive, Board and Executive peers to influence strategy, policy and new models of care.
- Represent Cabrini in external forums and contribute to sector-wide innovation and collaboration.
About You
We are seeking a leader with:
- Executive-level experience in clinical leadership and governance preferably with Private Sector experience
- Proven success in leading large, diverse clinical teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in accreditation, risk management and quality systems.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across clinical, executive and board levels.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza
