TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALISTEdge Autonomy Riga is an international company with its main office in the USA, and we are part of the Redwire group. We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and integration of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electro-optical surveillance systems. Our products are widely used in defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors around the world. We are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist to create and maintain clear, user-friendly manuals, datasheets, and bulletins. Working closely with engineers, R&D, and technicians, you will gather technical information and ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with company standards. Responsibilities:
- Create product and service manuals, datasheets, technical bulletins, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to collect information on product features, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for different audiences.
- Update and revise existing manuals and documentation on a regular basis.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Manage version control, documentation repositories, and publication processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management or another technical field is preferred.
- Experience in writing technical documentation and use documentation tools, like Web Manuals.
- Ability to apply ATA Spec 100 and ATA iSpec 2200 specifications in technical publications.
- Understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate it into clear and user-friendly content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working in technical industry will be considered as advantage.
- Excellent Latvian and English language skills in written and spoken.
