About This Opportunity
The Senior Application Technical Analyst plays a key role in designing, developing, and supporting solutions within the University’s large ERP system. Working as part of a collaborative team, this role combines deep technical expertise in software development with strong functional knowledge of ERP systems and integrations. Acting as a senior escalation point, you will mentor junior colleagues, engage with diverse stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions that align with business needs and service expectations.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and documenting ERP solutions that balance customer requirements with system and resource constraints.
- Providing senior-level technical support and mentoring to team members, acting as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to investigate requirements, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Promoting best practice through peer code reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and the adoption of agreed methodologies and cyber security standards.

About You
You are an experienced and technically skilled professional with deep expertise in ERP systems, particularly Oracle PeopleSoft, and a strong background in solution design, development, and stakeholder engagement. With advanced qualifications (or significant progress toward them) and proven leadership capabilities, you bring a blend of technical excellence, communication skills, and collaborative teamwork to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
You Will Demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in designing, testing, coding, and documenting complex programs for Oracle PeopleSoft (Campus Solutions).
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to support and guide junior team members.
- Proven success in consulting and coordinating IT projects with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- Expertise in solution design, risk management, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with vendors and technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical specifications and documentation.
- A track record of evaluating and adopting emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance system performance and service delivery.
