Business Intelligence Co-Op (4-month term)

Your Role

As a Business Intelligence Co-op, you'll be working on the advancement of the analytics maturity at the GroupHEALTH Family of Companies (GHFoC) and will be helping to ensure data integrity in financial reporting and analytical functions at GHFoC. This is based out of our Surrey, BC office on a hybrid basis. 

What To Expect

Within 30 Days:

• Train and become proficient in the data warehouse and the various admin systems and data sources that populate it.
• Gain an overall understanding of the current assigned project.
• Learn to communicate results using PowerBI.

Within 60 Days:

• Work independently to complete assigned projects with appropriate level of supervision.
• Begin developing Power BI reports that can leverage data.
• Develop working knowledge on business structure.

Within 90 Days:

• Present the completed projects to the team.

Your Impact

• You will validate the data integrity in the data warehouse and PowerBI reports.
• You complete and document all assigned projects.
• You contribute to the culture of the team.

This Is You

• Academic background in Math, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Ability to learn MSSQL.
• Ability to learn PowerBI.
• Knowledge of Excel.

Your Compensation

 At the time of this posting, the estimated hourly pay range for this position is $22-$23. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training.
